There are times when an opportunity will present itself. Some of those opportunities are good; some are bad. How do we distinguish between the two? We cannot always do so. Job opportunities, for example, can be shrouded in mystery, intrigue, and fear. Sure, a job here might pay more, but am I going to be happier? Is the drive worth the job? The grass is not always greener. It can be, but it can be a disaster. Sometimes, we just have to take the chance. Sometimes we need to rely on instinct. For all of you Star Trek nerds out there, Ferengi Rule of Acquisition 9: Opportunity plus instinct equals profit. (No, I do not know the Rules of Acquisition, but I knew there had to be one about opportunity and profit somewhere in there.)
