Organizational Behavior

I think everyone should take an organizational behavior class.  In fact, I think it should be required annual training for managers or people who do certain job tasks.  I have seen a mountain of issues caused by someone not being able to communicate effectively.  I have seen even more issues caused by managers destroying the motivation people have to do a good job.  I think everyone forgets from time to time that people are a company’s greatest asset.  Everyone is replaceable job function wise, but replacing people is expensive.  Not replacing them is even more so.  Why replace someone when it is so much easier to treat people like human beings instead of commodities like potatoes.
