I usually enjoy fall as it turns into winter.  I usually enjoy the brisk mornings.  Not this year.  Last year’s winter left me jaded and not wanting any cold.  It never really got hot this summer.  We might have had one or two days in the 90s and that was it – not the typical two weeks minimum.  I am stocking up on wood and coal for the wood burner.  I’ll make the house nice and toasty and start writing the third book in the Amanai series.  I already have half the book’s chapters sketched out, but I am not sure I want to go that route.  I still have to think about it.  In the meantime, I better get the pool winterized and finish the barn and leanto.  I do not want to be doing that in the snow.
