Last night, I was working the concession stand for my son’s football practice.  It is something every parent is supposed to do.  It was my first night working it, and I had absolutely no idea what the hell I was doing.  Ten minutes before I opened up, I was already behind with a line.  I had no time to prep and no one to answer my questions.  I was sunk before I even started.  The really sad part?  If it was not for a few fifth grade girls who came by and noticed me floundering like a fish out of water, I would have staid sunk all night.  It is amazing that a couple of 11  year old girls came and helped when so many others ignored it.  I did so many things wrong that I doubt they’ll ask me to do this again, but I survived… thanks to help.
